Terms of Service

The service

LynxSpan is a hosted social media workspace. Your plan includes the features and capacity listed on our pricing page. Items on our roadmap are in development and are not part of any plan until we say so.

Your account

Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what the people you invite do there.

Your content and social accounts

You own the content you create and the social accounts you connect. The access tokens for those accounts belong to you, and you can disconnect or revoke them at any time. You give us permission to store, process and publish your content only as needed to provide the service. You must follow the rules of each social network you use and our Acceptable Use Policy.

Plans and payment

  • Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, through Paystack.
  • AI features use monthly AI credits. Unused credits do not carry over.
  • Founding prices apply only to the founding cohort described on the pricing page and stay in place while your subscription remains active.
  • If a payment fails, we will remind you and give you 7 days to pay before we suspend your workspace.
  • You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change.

Availability

We work to keep LynxSpan running and your posts publishing on time, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available. Social networks can change or limit their services, which may affect what LynxSpan can do.

Suspension and ending the service

We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or that is unpaid. When your subscription ends you can ask for an export of your data for 30 days, after which we delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

Open-source software

LynxSpan is built on Postiz, which is licensed under AGPL-3.0. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that licence gives you. See our open-source page.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Law
